End of domiciliation agreement: find a new registered office quickly

When the domiciliation agreement ends, the company loses its official registered office. Without a solution, the trade register may show this and the company becomes exposed.

In brief : Your domiciliation agent has terminated the domiciliation agreement? Consequences for the registered office, RCS filing and replacement options in Luxembourg.

What the end of the agreement means

The domiciliation agent terminates the agreement, informs the company, then files the end of the agreement with the trade and companies register. From that moment the company no longer has a valid office with that agent.

Consequences for the company

Mail not received, difficulty filing deeds, banks and authorities asking questions, and risk of an administrative procedure if the situation lasts. The transfer of office should be prepared without delay.

Our role

STYX Corporate Services is not a domiciliation agent. We help you list the options, choose an authorised agent or your own premises, coordinate the notary when the articles must be amended and prepare the filing of the change of office.

STYX Corporate Services holds company mandates and coordinates formalities. The business relationship entry audit is a preliminary diagnosis, not a statutory audit of the accounts. It does not keep books, does not prepare accounts, and provides no statutory audit, domiciliation, or legal or tax advice, and holds no client funds. When a regulated engagement is needed, it refers you to the competent professional: notary, approved statutory auditor, accountant, domiciliation agent.
